E-Portfolio component description
Student ePortfolio is an online tool that you can use to document and present your academic, professional and personal development in the format of a personal ePortfolio. Student ePortfolio is designed to help you identify, reflect and record the many diverse experiences that have contributed to your learning and development.
These experiences can be drawn from various areas of your life, including your education, past or present employment, community-based activities, or other aspects of your personal life (such as recreational activities, artistic pursuits or family responsibilities).
Student ePortfolio also enables you to publish examples of work and other relevant documents (called artefacts) that demonstrate your skills and provide evidence of your achievements. The complete description of this component can be found here. The component has fully translatable front-end which you can edit according to your needs. E-portfolio uses two types of users which are called "teacher" and "student" by default. These names can be changed in the language file. If you want to login as a student, please use demo/demo as login/password. If you want to login as a teacher, please use demoadmin/demoadmin as login/password. The difference between these groups is that a "teacher" is more like a moderator user. He has a bit more privileges than students. The component has a messaging system between students and teachers.
